PTSO SCHOLARSHIPS

The Woodgrove PTSO awards three scholarships to Woodgrove Seniors each year.  Scholarships are a one-time monetary award in the amount of $250 - $1000.

Scholarship applications are reviewed and scored by a team of PTSO Board members, volunteer parents, and WHS educators. Each application is assigned an identification number to ensure applicant anonymity. Award amounts are determined by the number of applicants and application scores for each scholarship.

The scholarship application period for the Class of 2025 is January 1, 2025 - March 31, 2025.

WOLVERINE EMBODIMENT SCHOLARSHIP​

The Wolverine Embodiment Scholarship recognizes a Woodgrove Senior who has participated extensively and enthusiastically in school activities and embodies the school motto, 'Work, Honor, Strive.'

 

Open to Woodgrove High School Seniors with a 3.75 GPA or higher who wish to attend an accredited post secondary military or vocational school, community college, or 4-year institution of higher learning.

 

Interested Seniors must complete an application form and submit an essay describing how you have demonstrated participation and school spirit inside and outside of Woodgrove, and describing your post-secondary goals.  Essays are limited to 500 words or less.

All Wolverine Embodiment Scholarship Applications must be received no later than March 31, 2025.

WOODGROVE ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP​

The Woodgrove Academic Excellence Scholarship recognizes a Woodgrove Senior who has excelled academically while maintaining a high level of participation outside the classroom.

 

Open to Woodgrove High School Seniors with a 4.4 GPA or higher who wish to attend an accredited post secondary military or vocational school, community college, or 4-year institution of higher learning.

 

Interested Seniors must complete an application form and submit an essay describing how you have excelled inside and outside of Woodgrove High School and describing your post-secondary goals.  Essays are limited to 500 words or less.

All Woodgrove Academic Excellence Scholarship Applications must be received no later than March 31, 2025.

CAMPUS PROGRAM SCHOLARSHIP​

The CAMPUS Program Scholarship recognizes a Woodgrove Senior who has successfully completed the CAMPUS program. CAMPUS is an academic and college preparation program designed to meet the specific needs of students from populations historically underrepresented in higher education.

Open to Woodgrove High School Seniors participating in the WHS CAMPUS program who wish to attend an accredited post secondary military or vocational school, community college, or 4-year institution of higher learning.

 

Interested Seniors must complete an application form and submit an essay describing how participating in the CAMPUS program has prepared you for college and what skills and qualities you have gained through this experience, and describing your post-secondary goals.  Essays are limited to 500 words or less.

All CAMPUS Program Scholarship Applications must be received no later than March 31, 2025.
